Chocolate krinkles are a fun and easy no-bake cookie, and they’re part of a free 1 day meal plan I put together for you to download.
Actually, I first made a plan for people who are transitioning to healthy eating, and then I made a plan for those who are already eating very healthy and want to focus on whole foods.
Of course, you can download both if you want – I certainly eat the recipes from both of them:
I know you always see me talking about (and eating) healthy food, but I haven’t always eaten so healthy – and back when I ate poorly I felt poorly!
I was always feeling low energy, I got sick a lot, and I just didn’t feel all that healthy – especially compared to how I feel now.
The trouble with junk food is that it feeds a downward spiral of making you feel bad, making you crave it even more, making you feel even worse.
I’ve found that making healthy treats has a huge effect, so that when I crave something sweet it’s something that makes me feel energized, happy and motivated.
My krinkles are a fantastic way to get a chocolate-peanut butter fix in a healthy way, with natural peanut butter and dark chocolate.
And by the way, I know a lot of you are like me, and like to do things with more of a whole food focus, so I also shared my other version of these krinkles, made with dates – and there’s a whole foods version of the 1 day meal plan there, too.

Chocolate Krinkles
Prep time:10 minutes
Chill time: 15 minutes
Total time:25 minutes
Makes 6 krinkles
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder (I used dutch processed) arrowroot or tapioca starch
- 1 cup puffed rice
Directions
- Melt the chocolate and peanut butter, and stir in the cocoa powder until it’s smooth.
- Add the puffed rice and stir until it’s all coated in the chocolate mixture.
- Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto a sheet lined with parchment or wax paper, and put it into the fridge for 10-15 minutes or until the krinkles have hardened. They keep best in the fridge, since the krinkles do melt a bit at room temperature.
I hope you enjoy the chocolate krinkles! They bring good memories for me of my nana 🙂
This week I’ll be sharing more videos and info, and letting you know about a really exciting new resource I put together for you to help give you a plan for how to eat healthy and feel awesome!
