I usually have trouble thinking of gifts to give my family and friends. Especially for guys, I really struggle for some reason to think of things guys would like.
I often wind up making some kind of edible gift for the males in my life. Chocolate truffles are one of my favorites to make, along with gingerbread cookies, but I haven’t branched out much from there.
So when I saw the newest ebook that two lovely ladies I know put out, I was thrilled to see that they put together 15 wonderful recipes for Edible Gifts.
Lisa Pitman and Nicole Axworthy are two of the sweetest people I know, and their sweetness comes through in their delicious recipes, which are entirely free of refined ingredients, gluten and animal products.
The recipes themselves look wonderful, the photos are amazingly gorgeous and the suggestions on how to package and give the treats to your loved ones are the perfect finishing touch.
I want to make so many of these recipes – as gifts and just for myself! Chai spiced popcorn sounds really fun, maca mint chocolate truffles are a new spin for me to try, happy day chia pudding mix is a super-healthy treat and the winter sangria mix is a fantastic idea.
And you know what – the book is so gorgeous it would make a lovely gift in itself.
I really love that Lisa & Nicole always give 1/3 of their proceeds to charity, and this time it’s going to the Toronto Vegetarian Association.
