As we get closer to the holidays, remember to do what makes you happy. If healthy eating makes you happy – do that. If eating treats and/or pigging out makes you happy – do that!
Don’t feel guilty about it, either. As long as you don’t make treats an everyday thing, your body can handle it and you can always get back to your normal healthy eating routine.
And don’t feel pressured to eat treats just because it’s the holidays either. If you’re happier keeping things pretty healthy, then just tell people that and hopefully they’ll understand.
Keeping yourself happy and stress-free is, in my opinion, the best way to enjoy your holidays and your time with friends and family.
