Lunch today was a hummus pizza – using the hummus I made during my first live online cooking class on Saturday 🙂 It was a lot of fun, and the pizza was really tasty.
I made my pizzas by spreading some hummus on whole wheat pita breads, and piling some lightly water-sauteed veggies (I used some sweet onion, mushrooms and kale) on top.
I finished it off with a sprinkle of sunflower seed crumble, made by grinding sunflower seeds with some pieces of kelp and some nutritional yeast.
I popped the pizzas in the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees F. Phil and I ate them up right away, before they had a chance to cool off 🙂
