Since I was talking about healthy alternative to cravings and breaking through weight loss plateaus last week, I thought I’d give you a recipe to indulge your sweet cravings with a healthy alternative that can boost your digestion, and help regulate blood sugar!
This is a super easy and healthy vegan snack, inspired by the idea of apple slices with yogurt-based dips.
Apple With Vanilla-Cinnamon Dip

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp nut butter (almond, cashew, peanut, sunflower, etc)
- 2-4 Tbsp non-dairy milk, depending on the consistency you want (I used 1 Tbsp lucuma powder + 4 Tbsp water)
- 1 Tbsp ground flax seeds (optional)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (I used vanilla-flavored stevia drops instead)
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice mix (or just cinnamon)
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup or 5-6 drops stevia (I used vanilla-flavored, and omitted the vanilla extract)
Directions
- Mix everything together until smooth.
- Dip your apple slices and enjoy!
