This carrot juice recipe has a bit of ginger in it to liven it up, and some grapefruit to sweeten it. I don’t often post recipes that require expensive equipment, but since I had access to a juicer I wanted to show you how it works.
If you don’t have a juicer for your healthy vegetable recipes, you can try this with a high speed blender. If you don’t have a high speed blender, try this with a softer vegetable than carrots.
Carrot Ginger Juice Recipe

Makes about 600 mL

Ingredients
- 4 carrots
- 3 stalks of celery
- 1 broccoli stem
- 1″ slice of ginger
- 1 grapefruit, peeled
Directions
Turn on the juicer, and put the vegetables and grapefruit in, one at a time, pressing them down to the blades of the juicer.
