This smoothie is sweetened with banana and apple, but you could substitute any fruits you love and have on hand. Same goes for the greens!
Try different fruits if you like, but if you skip the banana use something creamy like avocado or a heavy nut milk. Try using lettuce, parsley, cucumber, celery or any other green instead of sprouts in your easy vegan recipes.
Fruity Green Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup water (approx)
- 1-2 cups sprouts
- 1 Tbsp spirulina powder
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp protein powder
- 4 Tbsp aloe vera juice
Directions
- Put the fruit and water in a blender, and blend until smooth. Add the greens and whatever else you want to add next, and blend again until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy!
