This is a husband-friendly green smoothie, complete with tips on making ‘smoothie cubes’ for freezer-ready smoothies while you’re away traveling to keep him in the green…
This recipe comes from Jill’s fantastic book Nutrition CHAMPS, which includes tons of amazing recipes from some very talented vegan chefs–including me!
Jill’s smoothie-making notes:
“I make this daily. It can be made with kale, collards or your favorite green although it’s not especially tasty to my husband with anything bitter like arugula. I soak the nuts overnight, drain and store in the refrigerator for the week. I also rehydrate the chia weekly by combining 3 tablespoons chia seed with 1 cup water and mixing well.”
